Fishmanoz Posted December 9, 2019 Share Posted December 9, 2019 While I have used a new successfully with an X04 motor, others report they can be too strong with torque-induced problems. Best non-bodge is to get the magnet re-magnetized by one of the services offering this. Make sure you note which way up the magnet is as you remove it so you can put it back the same way. And note if you remove it without a keeper, it will definitely lose magnetism. But simplest is to start with a stall current test to find out if you have a problem or not.
