LCDR
Well that is a turn up for the books and no mistake! The original No 1 clockwork outline, but apparently now fitted with a three rail electric mechanism, judging by the pick-up skete visible in the enlarged picture. It doesn't say whether it has an original type tinplate bodywork, (I hope so!), or whether it replicates the original bolted construction using genuine Meccano 5/32" nuts and bolts. For the price I would hope it is as faithful to the original as possible, but the above mentioned differences suggest otherwise. Will we get some carriages to accompany it? NWR-Gordon-4
Each locomotive is limited edition of 100 models, which isn't many. Imagine if somebody bought one of each; That would cost over £2000.00! 😆 😉 😀 WIll you be buying them, LC&DR? GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)

NWR-Gordon-4
I won't be. I don't buy O gauge models, but they are a nice collectors item, for Hornby's milestione this year. GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)
LCDR
Just to put this into perspective, a pre-owned Hornby Gauge O Princess 4-6-2 of 1938 vintage will fetch upwards of £1200, sometimes twice that.. An original 1920 No 1 clockwork will fetch over £250.
NWR-Gordon-4
Crumbs! Those are wanted by a lot of people then! 😮 😆 😉 😀 I don't believe these new releases are clockwork, are they? GNR-Gordon-4 (HF)

Bulleidboy
Do Peco make 0 gauge 3-rail track. I didn't see any mention of track.
LCDR
No they do not. I use track still made by Lionel in the USA. It is imported by a number of shops (try Tennants) , and spares dealers in the Hornby Railway Collectors Association. This is very similar to Pre-War Hornby.
