3 Level 00 lay out.

Just finnished contructing a 3 level 00 layout.

I have an Elite controller and a Select.  What is the best way to contect the above layout to my Elite and add the plan?  Do I make seperate plans within the Elite? 

Could someone also advise re the wirring setup. I understand the basic wirring setup for a single level, but I need advise for the 3 level setup conecting  to the Elite.

Any advice would be much appreciated. thank you Windavid

Presuming you wish to operate the three levels as a single layout and not as separate layouts, you connect each loop together using either link wires or better still a proper power bus. Hornby link wires are meant for DC use so for DCC use you need to snip out the capacitor in each clip in part.

 

The Select simply connects to the Elite as a Walkabout controller using a special cable.

 

You cannot store ‘plans’ in the Elite, it is purely a DCC controller. If you want to see your plan then you need to use Railmaster with the Elite as your controller.

 

If you post a picture of your layout then the forum can advise on where to connect wires.
