Blackbird
The 8249 decoder is provided with a very basic instruction sheet with a few of the CV values. Can anyone (Hornby?) advise where I can get the full information? I'm looking for function mapping and all CV settings
Fishmanoz
Hi Blackbird, I'm not sure whether you are referring to the 8249 loco decoder or the 8247 accessory decoder? Either way, all the info Hornby produces as standard for both can be found via the menu at the LH side of the site under Downloads, Instruction Manuals, Digital Instruction Manuals. I agree the leaflet for the 8249 shows only a limited number of CVs.
Gregd99
Blackbird,as far as I know the CVs in the 8249 doco @ https://www.hornby.com/filelibrary/download/?FileID=137 are all that are supported.Do you have other information?
Blackbird
Thanks for the replies, but references only refer back to the basic (supplied) instruction sheet. I'm looking for function mapping settings; assigning function key to output, and values (options) of all CV settings. 'Other' manufactures of DCC decoders, (and I've use others) supply these details with their products! Why don't Hornby?
