Hornby R8247 decoder

Hi Blackbird, I'm not sure whether you are referring to the 8249 loco decoder or the 8247 accessory decoder? Either way, all the info Hornby produces as standard for both can be found via the menu at the LH side of the site under Downloads, Instruction

Manuals, Digital Instruction Manuals. I agree the leaflet for the 8249 shows only a limited number of CVs.

Thanks for the replies, but references only refer back to the basic (supplied) instruction sheet. I'm looking for function mapping settings; assigning function key to output, and values (options) of all CV settings. 'Other' manufactures of DCC decoders,

(and I've use others) supply these details with their products! Why don't Hornby?

The instruction sheet references all supported CVs. the 8249 is a budget decoder.

This requires the 8245.
