pendeenpete Posted February 8, 2020 Share Posted February 8, 2020 Depends where you're using them, if it's for "dead end" sidings you can use them without modifications, you should still get less stalling as there isn't the plastic frog to worry about.If , however, they are to be used to their full potential,then you will need to add some wiring , a switch,and insulated rail joiners.At first glance it looks complicated, especially for a beginner, but if you take some time, and can learn to solder, the benefits are worth it. Without knowing your set up it's difficult to be specific, and probably your location can make trying things a bit expensive, but if you spell out what you need to achieve, then there will be plenty of advice on here forthcoming.
