Chrissaf
I shoud have put "Service" not "Spec" in the title. Sorry but the system does not allow me to amend it.Could the decoder be an " ESU V4 or V3.5 ? "Derek
Chrissaf
XS does indeed mean ESU LokSound decoder fitted with a very high probability of being a MTC21 21 pin V4..Unfortunately can't help you with the SS number....maybe somebody else can..PS - Title amended for you. Going Spare
Service Sheet 362B appears to be the closest available: it shows a DCC locomotive with provision for a speaker in the tender but the decoder socket is in the locomotive. Sheet 342B may also help as this is for the sound-fitted Duchess (using the same tender?)GS
