Will we still be able to post photos ?

During the present sad Coronavirus crisis will there be a moderator allowing the posting of photos ? Hopefully, yes.

Only the administrator can approve photos so I would imagine if he/she is off sick or the company is short staffed this forum will be very low priority.

As we have said many times. Moderators can not approve photos only the forum administrator can do this. However if you make a point at looking at the timestamps of some of the more recent posted images (the ones that needed approving). You will notice that many of them are being approved outside normal Hornby office hours. A couple last night got approved around 11pm..

This should tell you that there is someone within the Hornby admin department that is working from home and logging in remotely at times that are convenient to them to perform 'block' approvals. I also noticed that on the 17th of March there was a flurry of image approvals occurring between 7 pm and 8 pm.

So Yes, images will continue to be approved, but may be more ad-hoc in nature time-wise.

Hornby did place an announcement on Facebook (but not on this website AFAIK) that Hornby were implementing 'home working' and that the 'Telephone Call Centre' may not be staffed. It also said, that if callers knew the extension number of the person that they wanted, they could enter that at the voice prompt and that the call would be diverted through to the staff members location. But that, of course, is not particularly helpful for calls originating from the general public.
