radar63
Hi all I have an old desktop pc running windows xp and wondered if the latest version of Railmaster is compatable (I will only be using the pc for Railmaster so will be removing all other programs etc.). 96RAF
Absolutely, in fact RM was written for XP originally has had to be ‘fudged’ to work with Win 10. It requires little in the way of processing power and your old PC will work fine. You may need to ask the odd question about setting it up and which drivers, etc but it will work. Chrissaf
You will need to use the XP drivers that come with RailMaster. On the CD, if obtained by that format, OR placed in a 'Drivers' folder if RailMaster is installed as a download..Use this previous thread for guidance (note that Vista & XP are the same instructions)https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/forum/help-please-device-not-recognised-e-link-installation-on-windows-vista/?p=1.
