96RAF
Emergency Off. Have you pressed the STOP button. what version is your firmware. Pressing the red button usually shows E. Stop. Select controller at latest firmware revision will show EO or ES depending upon a long or short press of the STOP button.
Chrissaf
Are you 100% sure you have an Elite controller (two control knobs). The EO error code is normally associated with the single knob Hornby Select controller and stands for 'Emergency Off'..On an Elite, the LCD has more characters available and shows the word 'Error' for a 'short circuit' rather than a short two character code. Or 'E.Stop' when pressing the 'Red Stop' button..If it is definitely a dual control knob Elite. What firmware is installed (appears briefly on screen during power up), if it is 1.45, then it might be possible that EO is a change to the error reporting over the previous firmware to which the printed manual relates. But there is no mention of any such error reporting changes in the firmware update release notes..TIP: As a newbie poster on the forum, just be aware that the 'Blue Button with the White Arrow' is not a 'Reply to this post' button. If you want to reply to any of the posts, scroll down and write your reply in the reply text box at the bottom of the page and click the Green 'Reply' button..See also – further TIPs on how to get the best user experience from this forum.https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/forum/tips-on-using-the-forum/.Rob posted whilst I was busy typing. Same in all revisions, and definitely E. Stop at v1.45.
