Syncromash
First I should say hello to everyone as this is my first time using this forum , i Just had a question on brush painting and that is that I have been brush painting an old spitfire revel kit (1/48) and trying out Vallejo , using a ratio of 3 drops thinner (Vallejo brand) 1 drop water and 2 drops of Vallejo paint , I was amazed how flat the finish was until I looked closer and saw small specks of what I assume to be dust is there a way to stop this when brushpsinting or do I just have to expect these effects when brushpainting. Dad Paul B
This could be dust settling on the model from the air.If so the best option is to cover the model with something while the paint dries. Another alternative is to give the paint a rub down with a polishing cloth or very very fine sandpaper, you can find tips insome other threads on the forum.
