Geoff Savage
Out of curiosity, why can I not get this in acrylic? Is it because it is a satin finish?
Peter s
You can get plenty of satin acrylics. Compared to an XF- Tamiya Model air is pretty satin.
Dad Paul B
There was an Acrylic Satin Dark Green (163), not sure how much the shades differed.
0taku
There are lots of satin finish acrylics, I don't think that's an obstacle to it's manufacture, maybe not a colour that is in common usage making an acrylic economically inviable, What is the application you are using it for? sometimes a long out of production kits had a particular paint produced, if the kit no longer exists there is no need to produce an acrylic for it0taku
peebeep
^^^This. My recollection is that the acrylic range of paints was never as extensive as enamels. This may be changing with the perception that acrylic paints are friendlier to use on several levels compared to acrylic.
