C.I.E.
Hi all,Just wondering if it is possible to get spare wheels for an old 125 HST from 1977-79?I haven't used them in many a long year and after taking it out of the box recently found that one of the wheels is missing. The HST still powers but obviously cannot operate.Am looking to possibly sell on but would like to have it in good knick.Cheers, C.I.E. 96RAF
If you can find the correct service sheet for the loco then you will be able to search for the actual part numbes on the likes of New Modellers Shop or Peters Spares. Much better than guesswork googling for HST wheels. Try Hornbyguide.com or Lendons for older service sheets.
ColinB
Normally getting spare wheels is an issue, Hornby stopped selling them on their own, but fortunately they are old. It is the one thing Peters Spares does sell, he even sells the complete upgraded bogie with better wheels, for not a lot. I have loads of them where I was buying bogies for the pickups (sadly the only way I could get them). Just go on his site and do a search for ringfield motors.
