Pauljb123
Hi all.We decided to buy my son his first track however at 3 years old he just wants to press the controller as hard as possible and so spins off every 5 seconds. Is there anyway to limit the speed by maybe doing something to the track or putting a limiter on the controller? ThanksPaul
Andy P.
Hi Paul,Which set did you buy?Micro or standard?Any idea how old the set is?All of the latest Scalextric sets have speed settings on the controllers for this very purpose.
Pauljb123
Hi Andy.I think I've made the classic mistake thinking all tracks and sets are Scalextric. We got a https://www.carrera-toys.com/en/product/20063514-paw-patrol-ready-race-rescueWhich has no regulator. From need to buy controllers with a regulator on.ThanksPaul
Andy P.
Yep. IN Germany slot cars are called "Carrera tracks" and in the UK and many of her former colonies slot cars=Scalextric...You can try an inline power dimmer which might work..
