Scalextric Car track contact

Hi

Just been given a "My First Scalextric" set for my son, it is not working( I was told that) looking at the contact with the track from the car and there seems to be a conector from the motor to the track missing, there is what looks like a spade conection just below inside of the bottom, it is the same for both cars !/media/tinymce_upload/32f3acd48d0ddbd5603c2bc9a1af195e.jpg/media/tinymce_upload/9497f00ab83015435fedf277c635cec0.jpg.

You have an older set (pre 2019) and what you are missing are the braids.

Depending on the country you are in try a reputable slot car shop or any auction site and look for Micro Scalextric braids.
