Rob-1210503
I purchased this kit second hand, and love how it goes together great, and the detail for such an older kit.I don't have access to the old Airfix or Humbrol Paints, mostly Tamiya.I was wondering what the equivalents would be for the following colour:M13 Light Aircraft Grey (i've found references for Humbrol 64 or 166, which when converted to Tamiya are either XF-19 Sky Grey or XF-25 Light Sea Grey, both very different.Thank you for any assistance.Rob C
T2B
I would suggest Hu64 for light aircraft grey, formally M13!
peebeep
The instructions quote M13, a warm pale grey, but I think the colour should be equivalent to RLM 76 a light blue-grey. A suggested mix for this using Tamiya colours is six drops XF-23 + four drops XF-2. Tamiya do an equivalent, but it's in the aerosol range, AS-5, light blue. If near enough is good enough I'd go with XF-19, perhaps with a tiny drop of XF-19 added.
T2B
Or using the Humbrol range mix the Hu64 with Hu65 Light Blue to create the Light Blue/Grey equivalent to RLM76?
