Potrail2378
Hi, my pair of class 142 Pacers (which I recently converted) are quite happily running around my layout. They have both got decoders on the same address - this is ideal, as their directional lights both operate together and they can work independently of each other. However both cab lights come on together, not sure if this is quite prototypical or not. If I did give them different addresses, is there a way that directional lights would work with each other, and would the cab lights run independently? Thanks in advance. 96RAF
Elite supports all consisting. It is presumed the cab lights are working from the decoders’ green wire in which case if you run them on separate addresses you can independently have the cab lights on or off.Consisting with depend largely upon the decoders capability. Some only support simple double heading. Some no double heading at all. Then depending upon the sophistication level of consisting supported you may be able to control functions loco by loco.
