96RAF Posted May 19, 2021 Share Posted May 19, 2021 Compare other engines with the same number of cylinders and similar whistles. Much of the other sounds like cylinder blow down and coal shovelling, injectors, etc are generic noises on any loco.YT is a good place to find videos of engines and you can fix the K1 sounds in your head then listen to a short list of possible alternatives.
