96RAF Posted July 1, 2021 Share Posted July 1, 2021 Look for a suffix to the catalogue number.Hornby uses RxxxxTTS for their current TTS sound decoders whether factory fitted to a loco or as retro-fit packs and RxxxxXS for their earlier factory fitted 21-pin ESU equipped sound locos.Bachmann use the format xx-xxxDS for factory sound fitted locos.
