Model train websites

Hi Joshua,

Try to make an accurate list, particularly of your key items.

Are the locomotives all with boxes? Do you have their reference numbers, eg R1234 (Hornby) or 32-1234 (Bachmann).

A couple of photos of each will be beneficial.

Can you give them an idea of when purchased / how much they've been used / have they been maintained?

I would check Ebay for a reference point - only use here if you want a relatively quick sale and separate the items - putting them together narrows your audience substantially to those who don't want to pay much!

When you find a retailer who buys kit - Rails of Sheffield, Hattons to name 2, of many more - don't settle on one. Some are more generous than others.

Al.

Although there are I believe APPs that allow zero fee selling. A couple are advertised on TV usually promoting household / furniture goods and/or women's fashion.

I am not aware of any that focus specifically on model railway products.

That said, some other model railway forums [not this one] have a 'Market Place' feature / function where items can be listed for sale.
