idlemarvel
I have RailMaster with Pro-Pack installed and running on my laptop.I now have a dedicated "railway" PC that I wish to transfer RailMaster to.I have installed the evaluation copy and it all works on the new PC.I understand how to transfer my RailMaster licence (page 132 of the guide) but I am a bit unclear about Pro-Pack. The guide says "deactivating RailMaster will also deactivate your Pro-Pack Unlock Code" and that "on another computer you will need to activate your main RailMaster Key first, followed by the Unlock code". This is pretty clear but I want to confirm the "Unlock Code" refers to the Pro-Pack Unlock Code? I understand you need to be connected to the Internet on both PCs for the deactivation/reactivation and that it helps to copy activate.dat to the new PC first.Thanks. westernwill
I have done the same recently.Note that if you have any hand-held licences they must be deactivated first. Then deactivating the RM licence will automatically deactivate the Pro Licence. Then on the new PC enter your RM licence and once that has worked enter the Pro licence.Hope this helps. idlemarvel
Yes thanks @westernwill it worked fine for me too. Helps a lot to copy activate.dat to the new PC first, it automatically fills in all the details including the licence key.
westernwill
Glad it all worked ok.I had forgotten about the activate.dat file, saves a lot of typing.
