Avanti pendolino double iPhone speaker

Hello, has any body fitted a loksound decoder in an avanti pendolino before.

i have never fitted one before and I’m new to dcc decoders is there much space inside for double iPhone speakers or would there be a better alternative speaker for it?

Looking at a YT video of installing a simple decoder to the 8-pin DCC-ready Pendo there is enough room in there to fit very large speaker in either driven or trailer cars. This link has a pull down list of alternative speakers for the Pendo L5 installation.

If the Pendo is factory fitted with a decoder it will have the unique Hornby 7-pin decoder, so a bit of modification to the wiring will be required to install an 8-pin decoder.
