Track plan

Hi Modellers, I am an 12 yr old that doesn’t own a proper layout. I run my layout on the floor. For Christmas I am going to put a layout around my tree. What should I do for that. Also, is there any websites showing track plans using the track packs A, B, C, D, E, F, G and so on. I have all of them so is there any place?

Go to the General Discussion section of this forum (which is likely where you should have posted this query) and download the Getting started with track extension packs guide. Note there is no Pack G.

For round the tree just make a complete circle to suit the space available.

Just to add a bit of clarity.

The Hornby track extension packs A to F are all designed to create one specific layout design. Which is the Hornby R8217 TrakMat layout design. Thus there is no online resource that shows how the packs can be used in different combinations to make a selection of layout designs.

Its your choice - run what you like. Most folk would probably run a Xmas theme.

Using the 4 r607 from track pack b and the 4 r607 from pack c ( they are stamped underneath ) will give you a 2nd radius circle . this will get you round a Christmas tree.
