ColinB
Anyone know if the P2 is a suitable TTS Decoder for the Hush Hush loco?

ColinB
Well they both have 3 cylinders, have no idea about the whistles.
SteveM6
The original W1 (the model that has now been released) was a four cylinder. Only when rebuilt with a conventional boiler did it become a three cylinder.so no, the P2 decoder is not suitable.
96RAF
4 cylinder compound at that initially 2 x high pressure and 2 x low pressure. Not too many UK locos to choose from - Google 4 cylinder compound locos. Several SNCF and other countries locos.Even fewer sound decoders about, so maybe grab any 2 or 4 cylinder sound set.Or look big and pay up for the full fat Hush Hush sound decoder just announced on RM Web Forum DCC Sound section. ColinB
Well for the moment it has a P2 in it. After Christmas perhaps I will go for a YouChoos one, they do sound good. The good news is though, a really easy fit even using one of those Road and Rails speakers.
