Chris48-1237591 Posted January 10, 2022 Share Posted January 10, 2022 My Hornby tank engine, with DCC decoder, starts with a jerk when used with my DC layout. Because it is to be used by a handicapped person I would like to convert the loco to DC. The wires to the four pins, in order are coloured black, white, pink and red. From reading through descriptions of other conversions I wonder whether it is a matter of removing the chip and using two pieces of copper wire to short out the black and white terminals and also the pink and red terminals.
