96RAF Posted January 10, 2022 Share Posted January 10, 2022 SK said on the Signal Box presentation ‘...the new Hornby sound decoder...’The product pages for the model show that the decoder will be 21-pin and the DCC products page shows a keenly priced non sound decoder that is 21-pin along with a 21-8 pin adaptor harness like the old Sapphire decoder had. One thing is for sure they seem to have gotten the wheel to chuff synch right and the decoder will have to be more capable to enable use of several functions as SK mentioned lights, firebox glow and obviously the steam generator.I look forward to seeing the spec sheets for them.
