Mist22 Posted March 5, 2022 Share Posted March 5, 2022 I bought, second hand, a Hornby Prarie loco R2098A. It had been converted to DCC. It looks as though the motor now needs to be replaced and the service sheet says this is an X3874. I haven't been able to find one. ColinB Posted March 5, 2022 Share Posted March 5, 2022 It also looks like the standard one fitted into the Tornedo, Duke of Gloucester and Railroad Mallard. The only thing is these have a double shaft as they have a flywheel so you might need to grind the other end off.
