R8247 - Cannot get points to work

I am having trouble getting the DCC Accessory decoder (R8247)to work setting up points.

I have a select unit..

Can any one suggest another make of accessory which will work pse

R8247 works fine with the Select.

You need to tell us exactly what problems you are having.

We also need to know the firmware revision state of your Select as different versions operate differently.

Select can only use point addresses 61-99 so 61 is your start address.

Tell us the connections you have made between the Select and the R8247 and which key strokes you are making to get to where you are having problems.

Many other brands have been mentioned on this site, probably the DCC Concepts’ range the most often of them.

And the 8247 is one of the few remaining decoders needing to be connected to the programming output for setup. Just about every other, including DCC Concepts, are programmed by the simple method of flicking a switch on the decoder and addressing it from your controller.
