I am seeing them hit eBay and amazon months before we get our orders and by the time we get them we are being charged more for preorder's than the sale price when they are in stock on your site! £20 extra each plus postage for preorder's makes me want to cancel all 34 preorder's and buy them when they are in stock! Posted August 15, 2022 Share Posted August 15, 2022 I have heard that while cars are put on sale much earlier they often do not physically exist yet and don't actually arrive all the much earlier than when ordered directly.As far as prices are concerned: A lot of online places will sell some items at a loss as their overall volume means they can afford it.I used to sell avidly on Amazon but the fees and other larger sellers selling things way below a price where they made any money made it a time waster.I would always caution that an online deal that looks too good is likely a scam.If however you are getting the prices from an official Hornby distributor I can't explain the price difference.
