flyingfox4475
I wonder if Hornby will have them out in time for King Charles coronation. I saw the pre-production unpainted models at the Great Electric show at MK a couple of weeks ago. Simon was not saying anything as to when they will be out. He has a plan, I think, although I saw they were shown as Sept 2023 for release. It would be nice to see them out in time for the King Coronation, as they designed by Sir Nigel Gresley for the LNER in 1937 ready for King Charles Grand Fathers Coronation. TrainGuy1707822661
I agree it would be great to see a picture of the pre-production models and get an update on expected delivery! Fingers crossed, they are released before the coronation 🤞
Peter Stiles
I went to Great Electric Train show and they had some prototypes on a glass case on their display. No pics, sorry wasn't taking any.
DarkRedCape
Anyone have an R number or a link to said coaches? I’d very much like an LNER setup if it was no higher than era 5.
atom3624
What about the Gresley teaks?Al.
Going Spare
The era is 3. The nine coaches come in four articulated pairs, R40223/4/5/6 and the observation car R40227.
DarkRedCape
I figured it was those. I went to have a look and maybe place them on pre-order. Turns out I already did months ago. face_with_rolling_eyes
