Tim-1277317
2 issues; Lane 2 on the track is running at full power regardless of which controller you plug in or which car is on the lane. Any ideas of a fix? We can only take turns using batman on lane 1. Issue 2; joker car is sticking everytime it goes up a hill. Any ideas?
Andy P.
Hi Tim,Just to confirm you are talking about this set correct?https://uk.scalextric.com/products/micro-scalextric-batman-vs-joker-set-battery-powered-race-set-g1155mA lane running on full power is usually the sign of a damaged controller or a wiring problem in the powerbase. If you are able you should be able to careful open up the controller and look for loose wires or broken connections. The same goes for the powerbase. If you don't want to attempt that try to get a replacement from where you purchased it or contact Hornby customer services at the link below. As far as the car is concerned: There is likely something jammed (gears misaligned, guide blade not seated correctly) causing more friction or bad pick up.It could also be the car needs maintenance:https://uk.scalextric.com/community/advice/car-maintenanceHair, dust and fluff can slow these cars down... a little oil goes a long way... Tim-1277317
Yes Andy, that's the set. It does it regardless of which controller is plugged in so I think the powerbase looks to be the issue. I'll contact the shop. Thank you!
