DarkRedCape
Ha, that’s excellent. I know misprints in some hobbies can actually be more valuable than the correct print. Not sure about model trains though.Definitely worth bringing to Hornby’s attention though. Chances are this is a one off, but if it’s not, it’s on their radar. What About The Bee
If it can be taken apart and put the right way round, then there is zero "misprint value".If it can be put right, do so. If not, and you want it right, contact Hornby Customer Service. Bee
Gordonvale
My Yellow Submarine Eurostar centre coach pack displays "Only A Northen Song". Another person previously brought this up, and any images I've seen contain this error, so I'm assuming all are the same.
Tony57
If it mine I would leave it in the box and hide it away, it would gain value over time, it depends how many have been wrongly made and have got through quality control, normally it would have been destroyed by QC and never would have left the factory. The Doc
I seem to recall that last year Youtuber Jenny Kirk built an upside down layout - I think it featured in the first "Hornby - A Model World" series. By use of neodymium magnets the trains ran on track mounted to the bottom of a baseboard. This wagon would suit that layout perfectly!

Paul-1253766
Thanks for replies All! I have contacted Hornby and they said they were not aware of this particular issue so I guess its just a bit of an oddball that escaped the factory.... I've ordered another one that hopefully will have both sides the right way around and yes I'll just keep this in the box and my fingers crossed for the grandchildren in 50 years or so.......grinning
