  1. Yup, I can find this The HM7070 Power Bank will keep locomotives running over any potential dead spots. It works in a similar way to 'stay alive' or capacitors which are available from other manufacturers. And this (The Power Bank is not suitable for use without an HM7000 decoder, connecting it directly to other decoders or directly to the wiring of a model locomotive may cause damage to the Power Bank) Nothing about being especially designed though. R-
  2. Where does it say that the Hornby Power Bank was especially designed for HM7000 decoders please? R-
  3. @ateshci - good find there and a valuable resource. Unless and until a knowledge base [or similar] comes along could you put them both in either your album or the general album? R-
  4. RB51 [Roger] is a Mod - not Admin. R-
  5. Plenty going on there. Nice. R-
  6. Good idea. I’ve just edited my posts to give dimensions [Mod Perk]. If anyone would like to add anything to their posts, which will have timed out from the 60 minute edit window, and they think it would be helpful, let me know, via PM, and I’ll add it in for them. R-
  7. Interesting. I made that layout up, but had to drop the sidings you mention. The lower one was very close to the board edge 😧 and I needed a bit more space in the middle for a road. My board is smaller than yours. R-
  8. The trouble is @Rallymatt, it almost always degenerates into a mud slinging spree. R-
  9. In the spirit of Mr. Freezer. Nice. R-
  10. Funny you should say that @david_watts1, here is one I made earlier. Excuse plan, showing bearers and some sensor positioning. Board is 6’x3’. Similar? R-
  11. Keep going @Chris98. There are always some set backs. Negative comments are not allowed as the subject of them is [generally] unable to respond. R-
  12. Here is my TT120 layout on a 6'x3' baseboard. At the top drawn [simply] in SCARM SCARM - The leading design software for model railroad layouts and below that using the TGG software with sensors, blocks, points etc. all annotated. Board is 6’x3’. R-
  13. We are working on that. For now clicking on the word Hornby right at the top toggles the on/off status of all the boxes. R-
  14. Do you have a method to test power to the track @John208? I use an LED bulb and just touch the wires in the suspect area. R-
  15. Hi, @John208, if you are having problems ask on here in the first instance. You can decide based on the advice you get back whether to proceed under your own steam or send the engines back to Hornby if under warranty. I imagine you can also ask them to fix things that are out of warranty. They can take a little while with a repair and, if in warranty, they will refund your postage costs. It also means that they get to learn what the common problems are. Keep all your receipts and boxes as they will need a code off the box to identify the batch in which the loco was built. R-
  16. Agreed, well done for having another go. I'm a convert to TT120 due to space restrictions and also use the HM7000 system which is brilliant. If you get any issues just ask. R-
  17. Let us know what you would prefer the title to say and we will change it for you. R-
  18. Looks good to me. R-
  19. Ah, of course. You said "weed out" in your post. As it was in context and not suggesting anything more recreational it was approved. I will ask about the highlighting of banned words as that would be very helpful - for everyone. R-
  20. Your post was approved @Rallymatt as the trigger word was being used in a correct and acceptable context. No problem with that. As to your other point we have been advised that the post edit window has been adjusted to 60 minutes. Have you found this to not be the case? R-
  21. Right, Screwfix version ordered. Thanks @Rallymatt. R-
  22. Hi @Rallymatt, I'm looking to get a set of the small magnetic screwdrivers you show in the Tips & Tricks video of 16 March [for when I pluck up courage to open my Class 08] - do you recall where they came from or a brand by any chance? R-
