Posted January 30, 2023 Share Posted January 30, 2023 A lot of people use silicone or caulking.It can be easily removed and also expands and contracts with temperature changes.Hot glue can also be used and can be removed with alcohol (use the alcohol on the glue, don`t drink and drive! :-) )Otherwise I don't think there is anything special about the C8232s. If you measured them you and took them or sent a picture to a fastener specialist I am sure they can find a facsimile that will work as well...
