Dominic Thomas Posted January 31, 2023 Share Posted January 31, 2023 The box top tends to be useful when painting the model. 49 Sqn were engaged on atomic weapons trials, hence the use of ‘anti flash’ white. 90 Sqn were operational on the Valiant early in its career and I think this is the reason why it was silver all over, as shown on the box top picture of the 90 Sqn aircraft. unless someone knows different …..
