Stuart-357939
Has anyone fitted the new HM7000 8 pin Bluetooth and sugar cube speaker in a Railroad Mallard yet, this will be my first time of going DCC and interested in thoughts?
96RAF
R number ? Have you pulled the service sheet to see what fittings for DCC sound the loco has..
Stuart-357939
The R number is 3371 it has the 8 pin socket looking at the instruction sheet, it really doesn’t say too much about sound fittings, I’m hoping there is room in the engine or the tender. But having never done this before I’m venturing into new territory.
Fishmanoz
If you take a look at this post further down the page - https://uk.hornby.com/community/forum/confirmed-list-of-hornby-locos-working-and-not-working-with-hm7000-dcc-bluetooth-356967?ccm_paging_p=1&ccm_order_by=&ccm_order_by_direction= - there’s a whole host of A1/A3/A4s listed as having the 8-pin fitted. I doubt yours will be any different.
David-349920
I’ve done this. Bit of a squeeze but decoder, power bank and speaker all fitted and all works well. There’s a thread somewhere on here with pictures. Good luck.
