geochoice
Tried to find an answer in the Forum but can't see anything. Some of you may know about my opinions of the Elite, I am sure it is great but not for me, so I still have the Select. I am about to add the walkabout so I have 2 controllers. Question, I have a reverse loop fitted and the module which works great, (thanks to some people here with their advice). If I add the R8239 Power Booster so I have plenty of power to run 3 or 4 locos plus any lighting in other locos will I still need my existing reverse loop module? It appears the R8239 will do reverse module. And how does the R8239 connect to the Select? The Instruction PDF shows Elite but not Select. Do I need extra track power clips or just use the current one (oops sorry)? Point motors and track lighting etc are supplied from separate source and work fine. geochoice
Found since that the Seelct is OK with R8239
Fishmanoz
GC, I have no actual experience with the module but I think it is clear from the documentation that the R8239 is both a booster and a RLM. I also think you are right about it working with the Select.
