What About The Bee Posted April 19 Share Posted April 19 Hi Trainman You can do a continuity check from the wheels to the wires at the tender interface. These will be your pickups. Then do the same from the tender wheels to the wires at the tender interface. Keep the same side wheels with same side continuity. Bee Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ColinB Posted April 21 Share Posted April 21 Generally the two outside wires are the track, two inside are to the motor. I can't be more precise with the track as Hornby change it dependant on the orientation of the plug. If the cutout in the connector faces the loco, looking from the loco farthest left is track right, farthest left is track left.
