  2. hi all, I have a bachmann class 66 with a HM7000 21pin TXS decoder, im currently having issues with it Im trying to run the loco in DCC mode I can control the lights and sound but I can't get the loco to move but when I switch the decoder back to bluetooth it works fine.
  3. I have a Bachmann Class 66 fitted with a 21 pin TXS Hornby decoder fitted with a Power Pack but the sounds that it produes is sounds distorted and grainy, how do I correct this so they sound clear, can I fit a speaker to the Class 66 PCB
  4. hi all, Im currently having issues writing cv's and loco addresses to decoders from a hornby elite controller, the firmware version is 1.45, im placing the loco on my programming track which is seperate from my main layout, when I try and read/write cv's or loco addresses the loco lights flash to say it read/write to the decoder but when I place the loco back onto the main layout it still has the default cv's and hasnt written the new ones. any thoughts of how I can get around this or the cause of the issues, the decoders I tried programming are ESU decoder and a Hornby R8249 8 pin decoder could it be just the decoders at fault or do decoders have a write protection on them that prevents overwrite?

  13. Stubaggieboy please can you provide the ebay link where I can purchase such pantographs so if and when I get my replacement loco back and if the pantograph breaks again I can replace it like you have done with yours Stubaggieboy
  14. it is the new version R3751 Class 87 87002 "Royal Sovereign" in Caledonian. The pantograph is very flimsy I was going to replace the pantograph with one of the metal pantograph but I decided to send it back for a replacement but if that is the same then I will replace the pantograph with a Hornby operational metal one as the size is the same.
