poliss
You need an accessory decoder.
Flashbang
Hi A poliss has stated, to operate any solenoid (or slow motion - these are not a Hornby product) point motor via the DCC system a Point Accessory Decoder (PAD) is needed. e.g. The Hornby PAD R8247 connects to the DCC rails and allows four separately worked point motors to be operated. You can of course add more PADs to the system (up to the maximum number allowed by the DCC Console) and each point motor has its own unique address number allocated to it.
