A J Rimmer
Ah nothing like old kit canopies for a poor fit! Looking good though!
Valhalla
Thanks AJ, being a major focus area it kind of deflates the mood a bit when building, but we'll see what happens
A J Rimmer
yeah I can understand that - I'm sure it'll all look good once the paint is on though - the framework should help hide any issues. Edited August 27 by A J Rimmer

Valhalla
Finally finished ... I think. The kit comes with wheels as well to attach to the main float but I'm in a bit of a dilemma as to whether to fit them or not. On hindsight, I wish I'd put a couple of wee earth magnets inside the float so I could add and detach at will. All in all, I enjoyed this build. The only thing that lets it down is the supplied glasswork. All different shapes and chamfers etc. Ian

Dominic Thomas
I do like that. Well done. Now, if I could find markings for an FAA floatplane or even a USN yellow winged floatplane, I would be tempted.

A J Rimmer
Now I really like that - I do like early WWII USN aircraft - and you did a superb job. You'd never know you had issues with the clear parts. The magnets are a cool idea.
