HBC4rs
I'm looking to buy a model for my husband's birthday. He has done some Airfix modelling in the past but has never tried Pocher before (although I've seen him looking at the models on YouTube before). I wanted to get some thoughts on whether the Pocher models would be too challenging for him? And which model would be the best place to start? Char4192
Ask your husband to rank is favourite model kits and hopefully that'll drop some helpful hints to narrow it down. All models could be considered as equally challenging but very rewarding!
96RAF
Does he have an interest in any particular genre of cars, e.g. F1, sports cars, racers, vintage, etc. Knowing that may thin out your list.
Ljevans
They're a 3 month build on the side I believe, quite a step up from Airfix in that regard BUT they do come pre painted so the finished product doesn't need that side of things. They do look ridiculously impressive when finished. But the build is the best bit, technical, but not out of reach of a regular modeller, for sure.
