john redman
Old but interesting. Anyone else experienced these issues?
J-346856
Some of these yes, particularly the drive sprockets not fitting their holes on the hull! I do remember that I left the road wheels on the frame as they line up almost perfectly with the frame that has the suspension on saving the hassle of gluing all the tiny roadwheels on one at a time. My tracks have also stayed glued (so far!) with a bit of Gorilla glue. I did hide the join under the track guards at the top though. Once painted though, it doesn't look all that bad! Valhalla
I do like a challenge. I shall have a go at this soon. Can't see any flash so that's a plus Ian
A J Rimmer
I had heard it can be a challenge. it does look like a fun kit though, I might have to get one at some point.
john redman
Not having the kit in front of me I struggled to follow that review, but is he basically saying the sprockets don't fit into the holes, and that you have to glue the springs along one side first to make them line up?
Ratch
It can be a tricky kit to build. Being more than 60 years old, the issues are well documented, and with care can be overcome.
