  1. They're unpainted but then aren't they all?! MM389 RNLI/Rescue Crew Figure B – Scale 3D
  2. It's a shame it doesn't seem to stack with the club discount.
  3. Although given it is now the 18th of April and still no sign of it, I don't think I'll be getting a physical copy...
  4. I didn't realise there was still a print version I thought it was all digital this year, this will be a nice read when it drops onto the doormat!
  5. Just a heads up, Hobbycraft currently have 25% off Airfix kits as well as a £5 off a £15 spend. Free click and collect too if there is a store near you! You could get the Austin K2/Y for a shade over £20.
  6. Here is my Vintage Classic Bond bug. I enjoyed this one, the fit is pretty good considering the age but some of the instructions are a bit unclear especially regarding the front wheel suspension/steering assembly. I found the black stripe decal that goes over the back was a bit too long so I had to trim it down a bit. The new clear parts fitted well too. I didn’t bother with the driver as I’m no good at painting people and I prefer my cars to be in a ‘parked up’ state. The body was Tamiya X-6 Orange as none of my local shops had the Humbrol paint. I love the fact one of the decals is a Tax disk!
  7. Looking good so far! I've always liked the Hunter, there used to be some based at RAF Chivenor across from where my parents live in Devon. Many happy memories of the old airshows.
  8. Finished the Gnat starter set in Yellowjacks livery. I thought I’d try my hand at airbrushing yellow to test myself! it’s not perfect but I’m happy with it. The tooling is ok, it’s from 2012 and fitted ok overall but the top wing section left a bit of a gap. I used a Revell Aqua colour for the yellow as didn’t fancy my chances with the included paints.
  9. I suppose it depends on how much spraying you plan to do and how big the models are. I use an old Amazon box at the moment, set up next to a window on the kitchen table. I would say a decent respirator is more important than a dedicated booth but obviously having both is preferable.
  10. Here’s my WRC Mini effort. A real “2ft model” and my first real attempt at masking and airbrushing. It’s quite a good kit but some decals are a pain due to the shapes they need to cover.
  11. The 1:35 Military one has jumped up in price to just shy of £100 too now!
  12. Whilst unfortunate, it isn't common. Was it a Spitfire and P-51 by any chance? Is there a third kit listed on any paperwork in the postage box? I’d bet it should have been a Mig-17. If you check the thread: “What was in your mystery box”, another user had the same thing happen. I would email customer services and they will hopefully either send it out or perhaps send you a partial refund.
  13. About 130cm or 51 inches by my post it note calculations!
  14. I like to think of it as how many of the models would need to be laid end to end to make the full size item so a 1:72 Spitfire would have 72 of the models laid own to make the full size Spitfire.
  15. Many thanks, I may be tempted now, it seems reasonable value and more variety to have three different kits to four where three are a similar chassis.
