BigNoj
As a relative newcomer to the hobby I am slightly aggrieved that having paid the best part of £250 for the Elite & Railmaster that I could now purchase the elink system for c£80. I am also bemused at the current situation, judged by the number of posts, for wanting to operate railmaster on a small mobile or ipad sized screen, my own layout is some 15' x 4' with 20 sets of points and I am looking at using a larger monitor than my laptops so that I can see it all. I appreciate the 'exhibitors' wanting to control there layouts remotely but then again how many of them use railmaster. What I want, what I really really want is not voice control but train detection. By the way I would hate not to have the Elite to operate my trains manually and my turntable seems to have a life of its own when using Railmaster. Graskie
I never regret buying my Elite because it can act as a back-up to operating my layout when RailMaster fails, which it often does, I'm afraid. You wouldn't be able to use the E-Link in that way.
