tony_rigby_uk
1) If I put a Loco on the track will rail master see it? run it? or do I have to set it up, and read CV's? 2) on the top right you have Internet, Controller, Loco Detection, loco detection isn't lit up should it be??? This is annoying th life out of me know. I can read the Loco's CV's but can't run them nothing moves. speed bar goes up. but nothing happens. Yet I can read their CV's, one is DCC ready. the other for eliminating it being a dodgy loco is converted. Both run on DC with the R8249. both can be read using the programing outputs on the e-link.. Both will not run !!!!! should they be seen before this and give a ID of 03???? should the loco detection icon be green?????? Do I need to re-install railmaster?? has something gone wrong??? i'm getting supply to track it's just not moving them
tony_rigby_uk
Well I've fully uninstalled (after deactivating, which is important) and reinstalled the software. Tested the Reading of CV'son the programing track. (no loco there it can't read) if there is a loco there it's CV list is as follows.

Fishmanoz
Just one thing to be careful of - a DCC ready loco is a DC loco with a socket into which a decoder can be plugged. With no decoder installed, it should not be run on a DCC layout, although this is possible on address 00. The problem is you are likely to burn out the motor, especially if left sitting stationary on the track.
