Paul.D Posted October 7, 2013 Share Posted October 7, 2013 Hello, I've just bought one of these (whilst working in Canada): http://www.bowser-trains.com/history/ds441000loco.html The specific one is the Canadian Pacific one, 3rd down on the right-hand side, with sound. I've checked it out in DC mode and it works very nicely and the sound is quite impressive. Question: ultimately it will be coming back to the UK. It says it has an 8 and 21 pin plug for DCC. I believe the Hornby decoders also use an 8 pin plug, but are the signals that come across the eight pins the same? I.e. will the Hornby decoder work with this loco? Thanks! Paul.
