Padders Posted March 18, 2014 Share Posted March 18, 2014 I have a GF Class 101 N Gauge DMU and have successfully fitted the Hornby R8249 decoder by cutting off the NEM652 8 pin connector and fitted NEM 651 6 pin connector. However the lights won't work as there is no connection for the common rail(blue). So I fitted a Bachmann 36-558A 6 pin decoder but still no lights. DMU ran fine with forward and reverse lights tested on DC. Spoke to Hattons who couldn't help and offered a refund. Occasionally when the DMU passes over points the lights flicker which suggests a logic problem. I would be very grateful if anyone has any idea's.
