Toots1707817904 Posted May 11, 2014 Share Posted May 11, 2014 Hi. Has anybody had this problem. I can operate 5 trains from Railmaster with no problem. Soon after starting my 6th the link between Railmaster and the elite controller is lost. I can control the trains via Elite but I need to switch off Elite and restart Railmaster to get the system going again. It gets very frustrating I have 13 engines and have tried various combination but get the same result. Any help welcomed. Bt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Michael_A Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 The comms is always very flaky (Hornby will probably start by telling you not to run any other programmes or have any other USB devices connected, or to make sure you have a high quality USB lead!) The reality is that for some reason the data communication is just not that robust. Funny how I can watch a DVD running on an external hard drive, connect to the internet via WIFI, use a mouse, scan and print photos, easily and all at the same time, yet the connection using RailMaster crashes at the drop of a hat.
