I see that the R40436 L&MR, Royal Mail coach is now in stock. The website says it has NEM couplings, but looking at the photo I cannot see any. I'm expecting it however to be compatible with the Lion/Tiger rolling stock, so will come with the same 'hook on' link couplings?

Although not TT, it made me smile that the Austin Maestro was No.2 .

I wonder if the track needs to be spotless if cold and not used for a little while? Similarly with the loco contacts?

Good to read you sorted it. I fitted the 8 pin decoder version a couple of weeks ago and noticed how loose the plug was in the socket so ended up bending the bins ever so slightly to improve contact.

Glad your sorted. Yes, the 'protection' from browsers and AV software gets stronger on anything it suspects, even though, like with RM, its fine. If you hover your mouse over the 1.74 yellow box, it should come up and confirm "revision 5"

For me its down to personal preference rather than good practice. If you want to see coaches with lights off in sidings for example, then yes, a switch would come in. If they were battery powered rather than track, then definitely a switch . Otherwise, I'd keep things simple, less to go wrong.

To really simplify things, did you try the led's without the capacitor or diodes, they would then work under half bridge rectification but you my notice flicker and see sensitivity to pick up issues. Might be acceptable though for the application?

The level of detail in these TT models is quite impressive from what I've seen from photos / videos! Ignoring stay alive benefits from the power pack, how does performance of a TT HST compare against a OO HST in terms of track pickup, i.e. resistance to stalling on dirty track / points etc?

I wonder when the loco is assembled in the factory whether those wires are pushed back over the motor with a thin tool and then the PCB 'clamps' them over it? Just a thought.

Don't know what you mean . I'm on the latest 1.3 ver of the app so it sounds like it needs the 'adjustment' you mention for this quantity of locos. Shall I drop George an email?

Thanks @SteveM6 & @Pendragon Sailing for the "inactive/active" tip, that does make a lot of sense. I've now accumulated almost 100 locos in the Engine Shed, (I know too many!), have you noticed that for locos at the top of the list it can take a few seconds to change the text or switch from active to inactive when the app must do the "save"?

I'd feel the same to be honest. Did you get any options to review T&C's when ordering? You could always contact them and explain, asking to cancel and refund the renewal.

Blimey, that is all rather tight! In extreme examples I'd imagine performance would be impacted too.

The "Unassign" is merely a button to press if you want to remove that loco (unassign) it from the Dongle is this case. It will then drop down into the "Assign Another Vehicle" section and the red text there would disappear. Similarly, if you create a new loco in the Engine Shed which is unassigned, it replaces that red text. The TTS profiles are only a function map for a particular TTS loco.
