  1. Has anyone tried fitting these magnetic couplings to the Lion, minus the NEM plug?:
  2. Have you thought about RailMaster or TGG (TGG Info)? Does make life easier to control from a PC/Laptop.
  3. I was thinking the existing RailMaster library (+2000 Hornby locos) could be read across, but the images are tiny to use so they would have to revert to the originals. Anyway, just a thought. It would be good if the block transfer was added to their "to do" list? Its a shame Apple don't allow individual apps and data to be backed up and restored in iCloud.
  4. Does make you wonder what the dispatch order is....! All is good time I suppose Ordered mine April23
  5. Was yours a pre-order or did you order when it was 'in stock'?
  6. I transferred over to an iPad from an iPhone over the weekend and your comment @Bulleidboy made be realise that I didn't have as much trouble before. So I've just tried taking a few more images in portrait on the iPad, saved to the Photo library as a normal. Now, when importing to the app I have a much better success rate and can quickly re-import to adjust the position. It would be so good if the App actually drew a box, when importing an image, so you can see exactly the limits to work to. I still wish there was an inbuilt image library though (as well as a way to transfer all locos over to a new device in one go), would make life much easier
  7. Good information thanks. Sounds like actual delivery will be next week then, will have to wait and see
  8. Your welcome. Yes, as @Fishmanoz said, I refer to the loco. You can pick up a multimeter cheap on that auction site, but if you're not familiar with this level of fault finding and repair, it may be less stressful for you to send the loco in for repair . Good luck.
  9. The best option then is to use a multimeter and with track powered off, check for a sort circuit between from the running rails to each wire. Also, check around the 8 pin socket to see if you have pushed a pin through any wires insulation underneath it, or to the loco chassis itself. Similarly, have a look around and under the Class 50's PCB to check for shorts. Whatever you do, unless you find and clear the fault don't put it back onto a powered track, a new decoder will just pop straight away Failing that its a send off for repair.
  10. If you request a copy of all personal data that are stored about you on this site from here, after a couple of days you are sent a (complex) XML script file of your data. However, when I open it in Edge, I get the error:
  11. Do you have an elite or elink with a programming track? This is low powered and will not pop the decoder if there is a short circuit fault.
  12. I need to try again, take photo, store in photo library and then import. I was taking photo from the app and had to retake every time it needed adjustment 🙈
  13. Got you. I was trying this yesterday, then found the loco would sit too high or too low in the apps "letter box" view , it drove me up the wall .
  14. A test example where the image comes in too large:
  15. Thanks @SteveM6, have you found away to drag the borders to make the image smaller, mine keep looking oversized in the app?
  16. Are there any plans to create a Loco image library like RailMaster has put together over the years? Would be so helpful when adding locos to use with the dongle. Also, what's the best way to scale an image smaller, I nearly always find it's too big for the App
  17. I hope CV's can get saved in the future, would be really helpful?
  18. If the website is to be believed, Spring this year. I've gone for the Black 5 version, due Autumn. If it works as well as this video I'll be quite happy. Just need to save the pennies, lots,
  19. Wow, that photo does bring a different perspective to the size, its amazing what quality "scenery/structure " brings.
  20. Good progress @Grenkin, the real interesting phase . I spent weeks in the end with SCARM, its such a powerful tool, but at some point you have to go with it like you are now
  21. Looks good @Dodge1707823134, at the end of the day all that matters it what works for you
  22. Looks good @MikeMart, from the photo its quite difficult realise just how much of a space saver it really is.
